Pong Eats: The Black Apartment 😋

Hello! 😘

How's everyone? So, today, I decided to finally publish another blog. The Black Apartment post has been sitting in my drafts for a while, but better late than never, right? Here we go!

I joined my sister and her friends to go and try TBA. I knew someone from there (Hi, Marc) but he manages the Imus Branch but still, I sent him a message. And there, he called the Pag-asa Branch to have our seats reserved. We were like 12, more or less at that time.

That's Tibzi right there - TBA, Pagasa Branch

How was our stay at TBA? Ang saya! Ang tagal namin dun! Haha! We started around 6PM and closed na kaya umalis na kami. Haha! I guess, that explains. One of the kids, si Basty, had two rounds of Smores Milkshake. Almost all of us tried different burgers, two of Ate's friends, I guess ate a rice meal. We tried their chicken wings, too. Masarap? Nag take-out pa ko! Haha!

Congrats, TBA. I read your Facebook Profile and am happy that the business which started with group of friends just hanging out has two branches already. Love your burgers, the concept and I can say that this place is one of the ultimate hang-out for Cavite folks.

Have some snaps to share. See below and try 'em!

Pong Features: Milk Tea Alert! CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice 🥛🍷

Hello! Milk tea! Coco Milk Tea, finally! My first blog for my birth month is here! ♥

I have been addicted to Milk Tea and I've tried different Milk Tea Places already. Today, am featuring one of them - Coco Fresh Tea & Juice.

My Coco Milk Tea Fix, Megamall

Word of mouth is really powerful. I have learned about this tea thru Mikee. He said the long line is worth the wait. So, I checked Google to search where's the nearest CoCo! Back then, Coco - Megamall doesn't exist yet. So I had to wait. But when I had a staycation somewhere in Intramuros, my friend and I went to The Lucky Chinatown Mall (my first time) and to my surprise, CoCo has it's branch there! 😄 So, eventhough we already had a Large Milk Tea from another Milk Tea Place, my friend and I lined up to try CoCo. Indeed, the long line was worth the wait. Cravings solved! 😋

bottleneck at Coco Milk Tea - Chinatown Mall!!!

The Lucky Chinatown Queue

CoCo is very generous with their sinkers. Grabe! And their Large Cup looks like its really large. Haha! And it's really not that expensive. Your PHP100 is sulit! It's creamy as it has the perfect blend of cream, tea and sugar. Since  I wanted to experience CoCo, I did not adjust sugar levels at all. And even at 100%, you can still taste the tea flavor. See, nothings compromised! Sarap!

Honey Lemon w Aloe & 3 Buddies

When CoCo Megamall finally opened, went there around 10:15a and there are already people in queue. During that time, the person on the cashier is also the person mixing the drinks, so it's taking a while. But everyone is so patient - no one was pissed. Haha. Oh CoCo what did you do to us?!

Queue as early as 10:15a, Coco Milk Tea - Megamall

And yes - worth the long line, worth the wait, basta worth it! Go na, try na guys!

Pong Eats: Sabino's Latin and Asian Bistro 😋

Hola! 😍

How is everyone? It's been ages, a lot has happened and my writing soul has a lot of things to share - LOL. Am starting with the easy and short one first - food.

I have eaten a lot and gained a lot of weight during my stint in Neenah. I was there for 5 weeks and God, I wanted to try everything! But for this post, I am featuring Sabino's. It's interior is a combination of Latin and Asian inspired theme. Music, too. I find it very relaxing and the feels that you are in a foreign place is there, too.

Sabino's Latin and Asian Bistro - the first time I saw this restaurant, I got excited. I knew I wanted to go. I fell in love with the place and the food. I mean, I can eat there everyday! I tried their Lomo Saltado and wow, it was soooo delish! Gone in a snap. Too bad, I didn't have a picture of it. That was the first thing I tried. Next, was their curry. They have 3 kinds - Sweet, Red and Green. The color denotes the level of spiciness. Green being the spiciest among the three. Not in the menu though is called the Fusion - this is the "in between" (spicy and not so spicy). So this is the one that I tried. It's still spicy (for me) but it's so yummy at the same time.

Pork Fusion Curry. Chips are free (+salsa dip)

Every Tuesday is a Taco Tuesday, so you can eat Tacos for as long as you could. ðŸ˜‹

Tried one of their desserts, too. I forgot what it's called. But it's like a fried ice cream - sinful, but delish. Thanks to Amanda for asking me to try! 😋

Fried Ice Cream (the cherry fell, lol)

I have some snaps to share. So, if you are in Neenah, make sure to drop by Sabino's. I highly recommend it. 😋

Find me! lol

Pong Eats: Kko Kko ㉿ (ft. Lai)

Hello everyone! 👀

Before 2017 ended, Lai and I had a catch-up eating session at this Korean restaurant near our offices. She liked it here, so, go. It's called Kko Kko - Home of Seoul Chicken. 🐔

Located in Ortigas Central Business District, it's has a cute and cozy spot in Garnet Road. It's not your typical Korean restaurant where you get to eat your Samgyupsal with lettuce, grill it yourself and stuff. You are allowed to cook noodles though (with a stove) - how cool is that, right? It's like doing a mukbang. 🍝

We tried the Chicken Cheese Fondue. It's the bomb! If you are a cheese lover, then this is for you. We had the spicy variant - has chicken, onion rings and fries and look at the cheese!!

Chicken Cheese Fondue

I am a fan of Samgyupsal. I ordered it and it is in a lunch-box type container. The taste is just fine, it has a sunny side-up egg on top. I still prefer it with lettuce though. (Hmm, was not able to ask if they have lettuce, maybe on my next visit)

Kko Kko's Samgyupsal  with Kimchi, Egg, and Anchovies

Lai had her fave, the Snow Chicken.

Snow Chicken - cheesy!

I have some snaps to share. Kko Kko - Home of Seoul Chicken is worth the try. If you happen to be in Ortigas, give it a go!

They have draft beer too

Some snaps on the wall

She knows what she wants. Chili Cheese! Okay?

Menu - a bit blur, sorry
